Why Robots?
Why did we bring robots into our team? It's pretty simple. We wanted to make sure our team can do fun, safe work and leave the boring or tricky stuff to machines. This way, our people can focus on coming up with great new ideas for buttons and other cool things.
Buttons That Make a Statement
Speaking of buttons, that's exactly what our robots are helping with! Buttons might seem small, but they're a big deal when it comes to showing support for important things like political campaigns or causes. They're like tiny billboards you can wear, letting everyone know what you care about.
Fancy Robots for Tiny Tasks
Our new robot buddies are not your average bots. They've got six axis arms that can pick up and spin around all kinds of things like metal bits, paper, and covers for the buttons. They even use a special camera system to see what they're doing and get it just right. And we're using a high-tech 3D printer to make jigs to help the robots do their job.
All Button Sizes Covered
The robots have already started making our 2.25" buttons. But we're also teaching them to make smaller 1.25" and bigger 3" buttons. If you want to see one of the robots working, watch this awesome video.
Learning New Things
By using robots, we've also learned a bunch of new stuff about 3D printing and robot cameras. This isn't just cool knowledge for now, but it's also going to help us use robots even more in the future.
Helping Campaigns and Causes
We're really proud that we make buttons for political campaigns and organizations. These buttons help them raise money and tell people about their cause. We're looking forward to making even more buttons as we get better at using robots.
